REACH is a unique team, one of a kind in Scotland, that provides intensive support for children and young people on the edge of care in Perth &amp; Kinross. It is a multidisciplinary team bringing together professionals across health, education, social work and youth work.<\/p>\n<p>The Resource was originally aimed at opening up conversations about Harmful Sexual Behaviour. Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) is an umbrella term for sexual behaviours of concern that can range from being inappropriate or problematic to abusive or violent (Hackett\u2019s Continuum of Sexual Behaviour 2010). However, the Resource can also be used to open up conversations about sexual health and relationships in general.\u00a0 The Resource itself is split into 4 topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sexual knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Being close<\/li>\n<li>Sexual interests<\/li>\n<li>Body Parts (Submat)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The information session will be co-delivered with members of the REACH team and will focus on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>An overview of resource itself<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Impact Stories<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Discussion and sharing examples of implementing the Resource in practice<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>It will be useful for Talking Mats trained practitioners working in fields where opening up conversations about sexual health and relationships is a key part of their role.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Read more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkingmats.com\/lets-talk-about-sex-opening-up-conversations-with-talking-mats-part-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resource here\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For practitioners already trained in Talking Mats.
