There are an interesting range of parallel sessions to choose from. Each participant will get to choose three topics to attend.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talking Mats as a Thinking Tool<\/li>\n<li>Embedding Talking Mats in Schools<\/li>\n<li>Talking Mats in Forensic Settings<\/li>\n<li>Talking Mats in End of Life Care<\/li>\n<li>My experience of using Talking Mats as a parent<\/li>\n<li>Talking Mats and Positive behaviour Support<\/li>\n<li>Talking Mats and Supported Decision- Making<\/li>\n<li>Empowering people with Learning Disabilities to be Talking Mats Listeners and Trainers<\/li>\n<li>Talking Mats and Children\u2019s Mental Health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkingmats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/learning_and_thinking.tif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8582\" src=\"https:\/\/www.talkingmats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/learning_and_thinking.tif\" alt=\"learning_and_thinking\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The afternoon is more informal and there will be an opportunity to engage with\u00a0some of our partners \u2013 see how they use Talking Mats and try things out . There will be posters on the use of Talking Mats in lots of different places and for a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n<p>Plus there will be lunch, cake and a few bubbles !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkingmats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/cake-and-bubbles.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.talkingmats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/cake-and-bubbles.png\" alt=\"cake and bubbles\" width=\"284\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Thanks to funding from NHS Forth Valley endowment committee the event is free but you do need to book your space <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/talking-mats-is-21-tickets-62362171935\">https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/talking-mats-is-21-tickets-62362171935<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can come to the morning only, afternoon only or come for the whole day.<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t come to our event watch out for out blogs and social media celebrating the reach of Talking Mats for 21 days before the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of August .Please join in with your contributions using the hashtag #TMis21.
