Join our Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is a Licenced Trainer ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a licenced trainer allows you to train others to use Talking Mats.\u00a0This can be in your own Organisation or within a Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to become a Licenced Talking Mats trainer&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To attend this course you need to&nbsp;have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed a Talking Mats Foundation training course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate experience of using Talking Mats in practice by submitting 3 case examples and a short video of using Talking Mats with someone with communication difficulties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An in-depth knowledge of communication disability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good presentation and training skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-normal-font-size\"><strong>The Course<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is delivered in 2 ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Face to Face<\/strong> &nbsp;&#8211; a 2 day, &nbsp;residential course held on the Innovation Park at Stirling University.&nbsp; This is a very interactive course with a high level of input from participants.&nbsp; Cost includes training materials, subscription for the Complete level of Digital Talking Mats, accommodation for one night and all meals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>13th and 14th May 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11th and 12th November 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cost: \u00a31,299<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Video link<\/strong>&#8211; consists of 4 sessions delivered via Zoom over 3 days.&nbsp; Each session is 3 hours long.&nbsp; Cost includes training materials and subscription for the Complete level of Digital Talking Mats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10th, 11th, 12th March<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>22nd, 23rd, 24th September <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cost: \u00a31,135<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Licence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be licenced to deliver the Talking Mats Foundation Training course which runs over 2 half days.&nbsp; There is a licence renewal fee each year and a small participant fee payable to Talking Mats for every person you train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Places are limited, so make sure you apply soon!
